When we entered our freshman year at Tulane University in the fall of 2006, we could only imagine what the next four years would bring. Driven by optimism, good will, courage and faith, we set our sights on New Orleans and made history as the first class to enroll at Tulane after Hurricane Katrina. We are a small but fiercely dedicated group of Tulanians who should be proud of all the headlines we’ve made over the past four years. Thanks to us, Crawfest has become one of the biggest and most anticipated celebrations in Tulane’s history. Thanks to us, community service is not just another undergraduate requirement but a life-changing experience that has brought us even closer to our university and our city. Thanks to us, campus engagement is at an all-time high.

Many tears will be shed at our May 15 commencement. But there’s no reason we have to say goodbye just yet. Mark your calendars now and begin making plans to attend the Wave ’10 All-Alumni Reunion Party to celebrate our history-making graduation.

Pictures and video footage from last year’s celebration are available at our reunion website: reunions.tulane.edu. Check it out and visit often for details on events planned especially for the Class of 2010.

Our collective and individual efforts have helped Tulane become a leader in rebuilding New Orleans. Let’s continue to be leaders for our city and our university by making a meaningful contribution to our class gift. If you don’t think every donation counts, consider the four years we spent together helping the campus and the city rebuild. Every effort mattered then, and it still does. Through the end of the year, your $20.10 and greater contribution in honor of our graduation count toward the Class of 2010’s gift. Make a donation to the Tulane Fund by visiting www.tulane.edu/~giving.
