Rolan P. Baguyos was born in the Philippines. He came to Alaska in 1998. After earning an Associates degree from the electronics technology program at UAA, he began work as an electronic technician and started a family. With the help of a scholarship, Rolan returned to UAA in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
